Well, I am a gold member again even though I said I would never give my money to AFF again by renewing my membership. First, they sent me a 20% discount offer, but nope... then they sent me a 40% discount offer, and yup... I can do that! Yeah, GB done sold out!!! lol

Glad to see there are others just as pissed at the new pricing structure and how a "gold" membership is now essentially a basic membership. I'm no longer springing for memberships until they change this madness
I know right? Hold out until you get a better deal like I did. Paying full is not worth it without all the perks they used to have.
Pathetic is'nt it. No special privileges for Gold members anymore, can't interact with others, such as who's viewed me, flirted with me, hotlisted me or anyone who has sent points or gifts, I just feel alienated on here now & NO, I am not going to pay an extra subscription for any of that. They have really screwed this site up with their mafia style 'pay up or be restricted rules'
Yeah, it's been going down hill here for awhile. If it weren't for the 40% discount they sent me, I would not have become a gold member given the how messed up this place has become, and especially with the extra subscription fee to do and see what you normally did with a gold membership.

It's always best not to renew gold membership and then wait for the discounted offers.
If I were satisfied with what they were doing then I would gladly pay the full price. I've been doing that for over a decade, till now. Apparently they would rather make poor decisions and lose full paying members.
Congrats on being able to wait.....but there are additional charges now. Good luck on figuring it all out ~

I think my initial response to you was denied. Just another of the reasons why I had turned off my auto renew, and had not renewed at full price.

I know right? $69 for a whole year, but those that have viewed me is still blurred out, and a pop up comes up telling me to upgrade for unlimited access. I cleared my cache, and same thing happens. I contacted AFF about the problem.

Oh, you don't know about the new subscription system. It's not a bug. They charge you extra to view the lists and photos now. The current gold you signed up for only allows you to view the profiles, send messages, use the IM, and have access to the new emojis in the blogs.
I'm guessing that the site figured that in this like-obsessed social media centered society, people are willing to pay extra to get their egos boosted by seeing how many show interest in them.
@gardenboy321 Yes....part two of that " good deal' is that now people must purchase additional packages to access all the features that were included with gold before. Its always something ~~
